Bynder Product Update March 2025 – Here's What's New!
by Michael Degiampietro
As an official Bynder partner, we always keep you up to date: In early March 2025, Bynder released exciting new features to make your Digital Asset Management (DAM) and content strategy even more efficient.
Bynder Digital Asset Management
File Consolidation on Upload
With the new File Consolidation feature, files with the same name can now be automatically merged into a single asset. You select the main file, add supplementary files, and manage everything conveniently via self-service.
Example:
Your creative team creates a PDF, such as a product data sheet, in multiple language versions. Instead of uploading each file individually, the system automatically detects during upload that these are variants of the same file. Simply define a main version and add the additional versions as supplementary variants – all neatly consolidated into a single asset.
Bynder Analytics
CX User Community Dashboards
You can now closely track interactions with your guides and landing pages and easily identify top-performing content. Analyze in detail which content grabs attention and who engages with it. Optimize your content in a targeted way for better results – all in one central place.
Example:
A marketing team can, for instance, see that a specific product guide receives many clicks, but users only stay briefly. This reveals clear opportunities to improve the text or structure.
Predictable URL Data — Now Also for Video
Keep track of all your content – including video! With the new predictable URLs in the Delivery Reports, you can analyze your usage data even more easily, spot trends, and optimize your omnichannel strategy based on data.
Example:
If a video is distributed across multiple channels (e.g., website, newsletter, microsite), you’ll now see exactly where it performs best – enabling you to better target your content or unlock untapped potential.
Bynder Content Experiences
Multilingual Subtitles in Streaming
Videos can now be equipped with subtitles in multiple languages — making them accessible and ready for international use.
Example:
A globally operating company produces an introductory video for a new product. Instead of maintaining multiple language versions, a single video is delivered with subtitles in English, German, and French — saving both time and costs.
Predictable URLs for Targeted Video Distribution
Videos now also benefit from predictable URLs. This allows you to deliver individually tailored content to different target groups (e.g., sales partners, end customers, internal training sessions).
Example:
For a new campaign, a product video is created. Depending on the audience, the video is distributed via customized URLs with matching call-to-actions — for example, sales materials for dealers and product information for end customers.
Conclusion
With these new features, nothing stands in your way when it comes to Digital Asset Management. From now on, you can work faster, more targeted, and smarter with your digital assets – whether it's managing, analyzing, or distributing your content.
