Clariant increases efficiency in media management with brix:anura API and Upload Request

Since the introduction of a digital asset management system (CELUM) at Clariant, brix:anura has played a central role. The extension enables direct and seamless integration of digital content into the company's website, especially in the brand portal area and in Microsoft PowerPoint. Employees and external partners are given access to the required media, while the approval processes for sensitive content are guaranteed.

Centralised media management

• By using categories (facets) such as media type, use, language, region and other specific properties, Clariant simplifies the search for relevant content. This increases productivity enormously and enables the timely provision of content at the relevant touchpoints.

• Clariant differentiates between freely available content and content that requires approval by the asset owner. The latter can be ordered for the corresponding purpose using the «Asset Order» extension. This means that both internal employees and external partners only have access to approved content.

Format adaptations and language variants

• The direct ordering of format adaptations and language variants via the brand portal using brix:anura enables the international company to ensure regionally customised communication.

• The brix:anura API also enables smooth integration into the office environment. This is realised by using the brix:anura API in conjunction with Brandic, a PowerPoint add-on from Zigware. This makes it possible to insert digital assets in the appropriate format directly from the DAM system into PowerPoint.
