Public URL for Conversions
Speed up downloads from CELUM DAM.
This extension allows you to use Public URLs on the CELUM Conversion Server—so you don't have to convert the same image over and over again when it's already available on your CDN in the desired format. The required format is downloaded directly from the CDN—without any conversion. The Public URL is stored on the asset in CELUM DAM.
Should no Public URL be available for an asset on the CDN, you can configure a fallback scenario for your application: Delivering a placeholder image or generating the derivative using the CELUM Conversion Server.
If you have no access to a CDN, we recommend using our extension «Asset Exporter» to generate Public URLs, which can then be used with the extension «Public URL for Conversions».
